Dear Friends: Welcome to the “Lynch for Congress” website. It is my hope that this site will provide a continuous and reliable source of information and a direct channel between my campaign and our supporters as well as all interested citizens in the 9th Congressional District. Now I will confess that while I am a friend of Al Gore, I did not help him invent the internet, so a little patience with me from time to time may be required. We are still working on pieces of the site and will add additional information as it develops. As a member of the United States Congress, I fully appreciate the great honor and responsibility that has been placed in me. I remain truly grateful for the opportunity to serve. And as someone who has the task of representing the diverse interests of about 640,000 people living in two cities and 19 towns in Massachusetts, your thoughts, your advice and your advocacy on the thousands of issues that confront us is most welcome. It is important that we have your input and feedback and, when necessary, your guidance and criticisms. Thank you so much for your willingness to be involved. It is the
